bonny’s creatures

my felted animals are made from 100% wool. they are not sewn or stuffed, but built from solid wool. I form the body by needle-felting, poking the wool (and sometimes my fingers) hundreds of times to meld the fibers. I then use soap, water, and a lot of rubbing to further felt the layers of fiber. the wet-felting shrinks and tightens the wool, creating a dense and very durable felted companion.

elephants, dinosaurs, kitties, bunnies, foxes, whales, and (of course), dogs! who knows what will show up next week?
